
Begins Geochemical Exploration for Uranium on the Del Bonita Property
September 19, 2005: North American Gem (NAG:TSX-v) (the “Company”) announces
the commencement of Phase 1, Geochemical Exploration, on its 200,000 acre Uranium property in Southern Alberta.
Phase 1 of the project includes sampling domestic water sources, for Radon gas, Uranium and other Ions, all sample analysis for the project will be conducted by the Saskatchewan Research Council ( SRC) of Saskatoon. Phase 1 of the project will delineate exploration targets for Phase 2 investigation by reverse circulation or auger drilling and geophysical logging.
The Del Bonita property is underlain by a series of fluvial sandstones of Cretaceous age, thought to be analogous to sandstones in parts of Wyoming that host significant Roll front Uranium deposits. The Phase 1 program begins September 19 and is anticipated to take approximately 2 weeks.
The project is under the direction of Glenn .S. Hartley P. Geol. in accordance with the regulations of National Instrument 43-101.
